Since our chartering at the Fort Detrick Officers' Club in 1982, the Frederick (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has been deeply committed to the spirit of achievement and service within our historic community.
Our mission is rooted in the belief that when we invest in our youth and support our neighbors, we strengthen the very fabric of Frederick. We encourage you to learn more about our history, view our upcoming community events, or find out how you can partner with us in our charitable activities.

Upcoming Events
The Frederick (MD) Alumni Chapter is committed to operate for charitable and educational purposes:
-
To recognize academic achievement, of African-American students in middle and high schools in Frederick County Public Schools.

To fund educational scholarships to African American students in high schools in Frederick County Public Schools as wells as schools of higher learning (Undergraduate and Graduate)
-
To assist community groups and individuals in educational, civic improvement and charitable activities.

To accept and make donations of money, property, real or personal, to invest in real estate and personal property for educational and charitable purposes;

To enter into various activities and carry out contracts necessary for or incidental to the accomplishment of the non-profit purposes of the Chapter;

To promote the general welfare by providing services as necessary to the community to encourage and promote the development of its people
